Dutch Pork Expo is the national trade event for the pig farming sector, with its origins in the former Landbouwdagen Intensieve Veehouderij (LIV, Intensive Livestock Farming Agricultural Days). You will be informed and inspired on current topics and issues such as sustainability, high-tech and innovation, risk management and labour market opportunities and challenges. Dutch Pork Expo provides you with the essential and ready-made tools needed to future-proof your business. A little browsing, handshaking, and knowledge gathering – the world is your oyster. Interesting knowledge sessions, workshops and demonstrations make the Dutch Pork Expo a valuable event for gathering knowledge, finding inspiration, and discovering sector innovations.
The innovation route is a must. After a visit to the trade fair, you’ll be fully up to speed on the latest equipment, products, legislation and regulations, trends and developments within your sector.
Experience
The trade fair is bursting at the seams with experiences. The 2019 edition saw a large cooking plaza in the centre of the fair with TV chef Ramon Brugman preparing dishes on the spot; dishes containing – you guessed it – pork. In addition, 3 knowledge theatres presented a variety of topics relevant to pig farmers. Themed routes were set out that took visitors on tours related to topics such as ‘sustainability’ and ‘innovation’.
